I have been a RN since 1995 and along the journey in allopathic medicine I experienced my own healing crises- three open-heart surgeries. From these healing crises came an expanded life vision that has led me into alternative care/ eastern healing techniques & meditation.
In 1997, around the time of my first healing crisis, I intuitively started putting my hands on friends who had headaches and backaches and those friends started commenting that their symptoms would subside or go away completely. I was amazed at what was happening, but I needed to know HOW it was happening and admittedly WHAT was happening to me too. So, I started doing some research about alternative medicines – particularly energy medicine.
I first discovered Reiki and within a year I was a certified Master Reiki Teacher and began seeing a variety of clients. Although successful outcomes were common, part of me still felt like a piece of the puzzle was missing. So, I began a quest to find other modalities.
Over the last decade, I have studied various modalities including Reiki, shamanism, Laser Reiki, Ho’oponopono, Savior’s Fire (angelic healing) and Body Talk. Since 2009, I also have started using sound healing and crystals in my sessions.
Heidi’s credentials:
- RN License since 1995
- Certified in first and second degree Reiki by William Rand in 1997
- Completed 20hrs instruction and practice in Ancient Art of Healing with Yogi Bhajan- Sept/1997
- Reiki Master since 1997
- Co-owner of “Two Times the Spirit” in Cleveland, Ohio – where my business partner and I taught empowerment through firewalking and taught Reiki classes
- Master’s of Public Health, awarded in 2003
- Master’s of Counseling Education, awarded in 2005
- Nationally Certified Counselor
- Studied Ho’oponopono 2007
- Studied Laser Reiki up to level 5 in 2007
- Certified in Saviors Fire Healing in 2007
- Certified BodyTalk Practitioner since 2008
